A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF TEMPLE CITY REQUESTING PRE-
EMPLOYMENT MEDICAL EXAMINATION SERVICES
FROM THE MEDICAL DIVISION OF THE LOS
ANGELES COUNTY CIVIL SERVICE COMMISSION
PURSUANT TO THE GENERAL SERVICES AGREEMENT.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TEMPLE CITY, CALIFORNIA, DOES
RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. The City Council of the City of Temple City, pur-
suant to the terms and provisions of the General Services Agree-
ment, dated May 25, 1960, and entered into by and between the
County of Los Angeles and the City of Temple City, does hereby
request the County of Los Angeles, through the Medical Division of
the County Civil Service Commission, to provide pre - employment
medical examinations for the City of Temple City.
SECTION 2. Whereas the City of Temple City does from time to
time employ new personnel; and
Whereas the City Council is desirous that these
new employees have physical examinations,
The City of Temple City, pursuant to the General
Services Agreement, requests that the County provide these afore-
mentioned physical examination services commencing November 21,
1966.
SECTION 3. It is hereby requested that the Board of Supervi-
sors or its designated agent or agency approve and authorize the
performance of services requested in this Resolution, subject to
the terms and conditions set forth in the General Services Agree-
ment dated May 25, 1960.
SECTION 4. The City Clerk is directed to forward a certified
copy of this Resolution to the Clerk of the Board of Supervisors,
to the County Civil Service Commission, and to the Chief Adminis-
trative Office, County of Los Angeles.
