Thomas Balch Library Recognizes Volunteers
At Annual Appreciation Luncheon
Leesburg, VA (May 11, 2011) – On
Wednesday, May 4, 2011, the Thomas
Balch Library Advisory Commission
recognized the contributions of its many

luncheon.
“The success of the Thomas Balch
Library is attributable in large part to the
support we receive from our community
of volunteers,” explained Alexandra
Gressitt, the Library’s Director. “We are
fortunate to have so many talented and
dedicated volunteers. Volunteers
contribute to every facet of the Library’s

collections, assisting customers and teaching seminars and classes.”

identification.
• Emily Hershman (Wake Forest University), Carolyn Jackson (Wellesley College), Victoria
Venne (Shenandoah University) and Sarah Wycoff (James Madison University), all
