The Clerk was instructes to write the eagner Electric Co. in Regard to the motor at the power house .:end to also write the We stinohouse Elec & Mfg Co. and ask them to itemize their statement. A REGULAR MEETING OF THE TOWN BOARD J AS CALLFZ TO ORDER BY THY MAYOR at 8:4 P.M. Trustees,Anderson, Hasbrouck,Dundas and Gaffner ware present. The minutes of the preceedi.- g meetings were read and approved. The following resolution was presented to the board by Rev. :.glut ter"Duck and refired to the judiciary committee. To The Town Council of Ault. Whereas the community and town of Ault has in time past recog- nized the value and sacredness of her established institutions of religion, and Whereas there is at present a proposed efford to minimize and j eppardi ze those institutions by the opening and operation of a Moving Picture Show on Sunday concurrent with the aoiigous services of the community: Therfor, be it resolved that this congregation,repro sentattve of all the Churches and 4:lie christian citizenry of Ault do protest g �t Sunday operation of Moving Picture Theatres and against such .� Moving i � Theatres, and it further resolved that this congregation do respectfully re tition the Town Council of Ault to enact such ordinances as will prohibit the operation f6r commercial purposes of Moving Picture Theatres on Sundays in the To m :-o f Ault. This resolution was duly presented and its adoption moved and seconded and carried by an unanimous vote at a meeting rapresentat±ve of all the churches on Sunday evening, September 4th, 1921• There were about one hundred and twenty people present at the meeting. Submitted on behalf of the churches. :.Clutterbuck. The tax levy for the coming year was refered to the finance committee. The proposition of curfew was disscused by the Board and the hour set at :00 P.M. The present method of enforcing the traffic ordinance 'fras disscussed.Hasbrouck moved, seconded by Dundas that the Town obtain tags to tag the cars of persons violateing this ordinance and to instruct the Judge to use judgement in imposing fines.All present vote YEA.
