SPECIAL MEETING
March 6, 2000
The Moab City Council held a Special Meeting on the above date
in the Council Chambers of the Grand County Courthouse, located
at 125 East Center Street, Moab, Utah. The meeting was called to
order at 7:02 PM. In attendance were Mayor Karla Hancock,
Councilmembers Kyle Bailey, Rob Sweeten, Gregg W. Stucki,
Joseph Lekarczyk and Kirstin Peterson. Also present were City
Manager Donna J. Metzler and City Recorder Rachel Ellison. In
attendance from Grand County were County Councilmembers Bart
Leavitt, Ken Ballantyne, Frank Nelson, Harvey Merrill, Kimberly
Schappert, Al McLeod, Suzanne Mayberry, County Clerk Fran
Townsend, Executive Secretary Diana Carroll, County Planning
Commission Secretary Mary Hofhine and County Administrator
David Hutchinson. Twenty-five members of the audience and
media were present. The purpose of the meeting was a Joint
City/County Council Meeting.
County Councilmember Schappert made a presentation regarding
an Interlocal Agreement for the Coordination of North Corridor
Planning By and Between Grand County and the City of Moab.
Discussion followed between the County Council, City Council
and Audience Members.
No action was taken by the City Council on approval of proposed
Resolution #05-2000 — a Resolution Approving and Interlocal
Agreement for the Coordination of North Corridor Planning By
and Between: Grand County and the City of Moab.
Mayor Hancock adjourned the Special Council Meeting at 8:32
PM.
