LYNWOOD INFORMATION INC.. AUGUST 17 2000
The Information Inc, of the City of Lynwood met in a Budget Workshop at
Bateman Hall, 11331 Ernestine on the above date at 10:00 a.m.
Chairman Byrd presiding.
Directors Rea, Reyes, Richards, and Byrd answered roll call.
Director Sanchez was absent.
_ Also present were Chief Administrative Officer Davis, Assistant City Attorney
i Glen W. Calsada, Secretary Hooper and Treasurer Pygatt.
_! Secretary Hooper announced the Agenda had been posted in accordance with
The Brown Act.

Item #4: FY 2000-2001 Operating Budget. ~M ~
City Manager Davis explained the purpose of the meeting. The next few budget ~~
sessions will be based on ideas from the City Council Strategic Planning
sessions.
Item #6: Core values. rgr~ #6
Personnal Officer Black presented and explained to Council the draft of Core ~ `~~
Values submitted by the Core Values Committee.
It was moved by Director Reyes, seconded by Director Richards to 1) use core
values which spell out Lynwood for a poster in City Hall and 2) use Core Values
which start with honesty and integrity be printed on business cards to be
distributed by employees.

Code Enforcement Manager Beal presented a video representing the many Code ~~'
Violations that the Code enforcement officers answer to. The department has put ~
a comprehensive plan together for Council to review.
Having no further discussion, it was moved by Director Reyes, seconded by
Director Rea and carried to adjourn at 12:10 p.m. to August 21, 2000.
