ARE SOLUTION: SETTING A JOINT PUBLIC HEARING FOR A ZONING ORDINANCE ANEND-
H~ff REGARDING ADDITIONAL SETBACKS FRO~ C~RTAIN S~S
WHI~EAS, on October 25, 1988, this Council initiated an amends~mt to
Section 1B-5(e) of the Leesburg Zoning Ordinance to add subsection (2)((e))
to read as follows:
(2)((e)) LeesburK Bypass: 100 feet fro~ the risht-of-way line. This
setback shell apply to all buildinis and 9arking lots~, and
WHEREAS, this proposed amendment was referred to the Planning Com~ission
to conduct a public hearing and report its recommendation to the Council; and
WHEREAS, the Planning Co~nission at its November 3, 1988,
requested that the Council hold a Joint public hearing with the Plarming
Commission in order to expedite enactment of this proposed change;
THEREFORE, RESOLVED by the Council of the Town of Leesburg in Virginia
as follows:
SECTION I. A joint public hearing on this proposed amendment shell be
held at 7:30 p.m. on December 13, 1988, in the Council Chambers, 10 Loudoun
Street, S.W., Leesburg Virginia. In accordance with Section 15.1-431 of the
1950 Code of Virginia, as amended, this hearing shall be a joint hearin8 of
both the Planning Commission and Council. The clerk shall give notice of
this hearing on November 24, December 1 and December 8, 1988, and shall
advise the Planning Commission of the purpose, time and date of the hearing.
SECTION II.
The Planning Commission shall reports its reconm~endation
to the Town Council on the proposed amendment,
