A RESOL~ON:
CANCELLING THE SECOND COUNCIL AND COMMITTEE MEETINGS
AND EXTENDING THE CHRIS~ HOLIDAY BY ONE-
HALF DAY FOR TOWN EMPLOYEES
WHEREAS, the Council's sdmlrdstrafion md Public Works Corem|tree and the plmnnlrlg and
Zoning Committee are scheduled to meet on December 21; and
WHEREAS, the full Council is scheduled to meet on December 27; and
WHEltEAS, these meeting~ will interfere with the observation and celebration of Christmas;
and
WHEREA~, the town's personnel msnual would require employees to report to work until
12:00 noon on Friday, December 28:
THEREFORE, RESOLVED by the Council of the Town of Leesburg in Virginia as follows:
SECTION I. The Council's committees scheduled to meet December 21 and the full Council
meeting scheduled for December 27 are cancelled.
SECTION H. The one-half day 'Christmas Eve" hoUday authorized in the town's personnel
rules is extended to include the entire day of December 28, 1988.
SECTION IH. The msn,~er is directed to publish a notice of the revised Council and town
office schedule in the Loudoun Times-Mirror.
