GREENCASTLE BOARD OF WORKS
Executive Session
October 19, 1989
® The Greencastle Common Council and Board of Works met in executive session on
Thursday, October 19, 1989 at 7:00 p.m. in City Flall.. On call of the roll the following
members were shown to be present: Mayor Uarmless, Mrs. Crawley, Mr. Lawrence, Councilor
Sheri Roach, Councilor Tim Conway, Councilor Sue Murray, Councilor Bob Sedlack, Councilor
Mike Rokicki. Also present were City Attorney Larry Wilson and Fire Chief Bob Elmore.
Discussion ensued concerning the EEOC claim filed by Valerie Cashion. Mr.. Wilson
documented the series of events and noted PERF had verified in writing the acceptance of
Ms. Cashion backdated to August 16, 1988 prior to her 36th birthday. Discussion of the
options of reconciliation.
Discussion of possible litigation concerning a zoning violation at 407 Melrose
occurred.
No action was addressed regarding either issue, and no business other than stated
above took place.
Councilor Sedlack moved for adjournment. This motion was seconded by Councilor
Roach, was carried by an aye unanimous vote, and the meeting was adjourned at 7:40 p.m.
