A RESOLUTION UPDATING THE RENTAL FEES AND REQUIRED
DEPOSITS FOR THE IONA COMMUNITY CENTER.
WHEREAS, increased rental activity within the Iona Community Center and inflation have
caused an increase to building cleaning, maintenance and utility costs.
NOW THEREFORE, be it resolved by the Mayor and the Council of the City of Iona, the rental
fees for rooms and facilities at the Iona Community Center are established as follows:
1. Multi-Purpose Hall or City Council Room—Single Use
a. City of Iona Residents — $30 per hour per room (up to 4 hours) or $150 per day,
payable in advance. $50 per hour (up to 4 hours) or $225 per day for both rooms,
payable in advance.
b. Non-City of Iona Residents—$60 per hour per room(up to 4 hours)or$300 per day,
payable in advance. $100 per hour (up to 4 hours) or $450 per day for both rooms,
payable in advance.
2. Multi-Purpose HalUOther Rooms—Recurring Use
Rental for regular, recurring use of the Multi-Purpose room or other rooms shall be
established by written agreement approved by the Mayor.
3. Reservation Fee—All Rooms
$50 (Such fee is non-refundable and shall be paid no less than two weeks prior to reserved
date. Fee will be applied towards rental if facilities are used).
4. Cash Cleaning Deposit—Multi-Purpose Room/City Council Room
$300 (Cash deposit will be returned if rooms are left clean. Deposit may be forfeited if
rented rooms,kitchen and bathrooms are not left clean).
5. Security
If security is required for scheduled events the renter shall pay the actual costs of required
security. An advance payment for such costs may be required.
PASSED and adopted by the CITY COUNCIL of the CITY OF IONA on the 17th day of October,
2023.
