LYNWOOD INFORMATION, INC.
SPECIAL MEETING
OCTOBER 23, 2000
The Lynwood Information, Inc. of the City of Lynwood met in a Special Meeting at
11330 Bullis Road on the above date at 8:30 a.m.
Chairman Byrd presiding.
Directors Rea, Reyes, Richards, Sanchez and Byrd answered the roll call.
Also present were City Manager Davis, City Attorney Calsada, Secretary Hooper, and
Treasurer Pygatt.
Secretary Clerk Hooper announced that the agenda had been posted in accordance
with the Brown Act.

Discussed recent drive-by shooting in her neighborhood.
Director Richards stated they are working with the Sheriffs Department on issues such
as violence and gangs.
1 , Mayor Byrd stated we need the citizens to help with telephone calls regarding violence
and gangs.

Director Reyes stated that he has received several telephone calls the night before
regarding the violence in Lynwood.
Item #4: FY2000-2001 Budget Workshop
The Budget Workshop was continued to Wednesday, October 25, 2000.
ADJOURNMENT
Having no further discussion, it was moved by Director Rea, seconded by Director
Sanchez and carried to adjourn the meeting at 10:55 a.m.
