AUGUST 2.4, 1953
The Council of Bal Harbour Village met at the Administration
Building, Monday, August a., 4953 at 8:00 o'clock P. M.
There were present: Dr. Leonard and Messrs. Collins and
Stokely
Absent: Messrs. Beatty and Brown
Also present was W.H. Webb, Village Manager.
The minutes of the previous meeting of July .0, 1953 were read
and approved.
Mr. Webb informed the council that some of the residents had pur-
chased athletic equipment for the village children and inasmuch as the
village did not have any land that could be used for a playground he suggested.
he would ask the Board of Governors of the Pal Harbour Club if a portion of
the Club grounds could be used. It was moved hyMr. Stokely, seconded by
M.r. Collins and unanimously voted that her. Webb bo authorized to contact
the Directors of the Club and if permission was granted the village could
erect goal posts and a baseball stop.
There Being no further business before the me timr on motion duly
made the meetirr was adjourned.
