RECEIVING AND REFERRING THE APPLICATION OF RICHLYNN
DEVELOPMENT FOR REVISION OF THE PROFFERS PERTAINING TO #ZM-
58 TO THE PLANNING COMMISSION FOR PUBLIC I-IF, ARING UNDER
CHAPTER 11, TITLE 15.1 OF THE CODE OF VIRGINIA, AS AMENDED.
WHEREAS, Rezoning #ZM-58 was approved by Council Ordinance #85-O-30 for the site
commollly referred to as the Ward Component plant site; and
WHEREAS, proffer number 13 of that ordinance states:

The principal use of Parcel B-2 shall be limited to prefabricated and med,,lsr housing
and components manufacturing, and
WHE~, an application has been received from Richard E. Ward to request amendment to the
proffered conditions for the following permitted principal uses of the PD-GI zoning district to be allowed
on the subject property:
· Research, experimental, testing and development activities;
Manufacture, processing, fabrication, assembly, distribution of products such as, but
not limited to:
scientific and precision instruments, photographic equipment,
communicatiOll, computerization equipment, drugs, medicines,
phs~naceuticals, household appliances, toys, sporting and
athletic goods, dye-cut paperboard and cardboard, glass
products made of purchased glass, electrical lighting and
wiring equipment, service industry m~chines, lithographic and
printing processes, industrial centrols, radio and t.v. receiving
sets, watches and clocks, bags and containers, sanitary paper
products, optical goods, electrical machinery, mobile homes,
d~iry products, feed and grain, baked and confectioners' goods,
farm machinery, fruit and vegetable processing, canning,
storage.

· Commercial office use
THEREFORE, RESOLVED by the Council of the Town of Leesburg in ~rmgin~ as follows:
The petition of Richard E. Ward for amendment of proffers, approved as part of #ZM-58 for
REZONING #ZM-107 9.
amendment to proffer #13 as shown above, and assigned rezoning #ZM-107, is received and referred to
the Planning Commission for public hearing and recommendation under Chapter 11, Title 15.1 of the
Code of Virginia, as amended.
