Home My Public Portal About1989_02_14_R029Leesl~urg in ~rirginia RESOLUTION NO. 89 - 29 PRESENTED ADOPTED February 14, 1989 February 14, 1989 A RESOLUTION: AMENDING POSITIONS AND NUMBE~ OF EMPLOYEES IN TH~ TOWN'S SERVICE TO IMPLEMENT ADDITIONAL STAFF FOR THE WATER SUPPLY DIVISION OF THE UTILITIES DEPARTMENT WHEREAS, the town's Water Treatment Facility has increased annual production by 300 million gallons since 1986; and WHERF_.Z,S, the increased production has required a s'q~xificant increase in staff hours; and WHEREAS, the increase in staff hours totaled over $16,000 in overtime pay for the plant operators this fmc. al year; and WHEREAS, an additional Operator II will reduce the mount spent on overtime and provide for more efficient operation of the facility; and VfrIE~, the additional position will also be used to monitor the inst~llstion and evaluation of new high rate filtration equipment. THEREFORE, RESOLVED by the Council of the Town of Leesburg in Virginia as follows: Section I.
