HomeMy Public PortalAboutPAGE 23 9 REGULAR MEETING. May,2nd, 1922. A REGULAR MEETING OF THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES WAS CALLED TO ORDER ET THE MAYOR at 8: 00 P.M. Trustees; Anderson, Newell,Fullmer, Hasbrouck and Burman were pre- sent. Minutes of the preceeding meeting read and approved. Mayor Smith called the attention of the Board to the condition of a number of sidewalks in Town that were in bad condition. The Clerk was instucted to notify all parties having sidewalk n bad condition to either repair or rebuilt same so as to codfcrn to the OtC_inance in regard to sidewalks. Anderson mcved, seconded by Newell , That Mr.Brew be allowed to find the grade of Yr Wilkine sidewalk. All present vote Yea. Mayor Smith requested the Street Alley Co-mittee to see Mr. Venable in regard to the gutter on First Street in front of his property. Dray license was discussed. No action taken. Tiron ballot t'ee following men were elected to serve the Town at the' will and pleasure of the Board of Trustees. N.F.Hardinr, as Marshall , Arthur Beck,as Treasurer. Dr. A.C.NcOain, as Town Fhycisian. Ralph P .Bowman, Ae Town Clerk and Sup' t of Water. W.J .Kenderson, as Police Magistrate. Sewer rrorosition was discusned,No action taken. Street repairing discussed and refered to proper Committee. Purchase of Fire fighting equiptment refer aL: to proper Committee. Insurance rate on plant equiletment discuseed.
