HomeMy Public PortalAboutMIN-CC-2000-05-30MOAB CITY COUNCIL SPECIAL MEETING May 30, 2000 The Moab City Council held a special meeting on the above date in the Council Chambers of Moab City Offices, located at 115 West 200 South, Moab, Utah. Mayor Karla R. Hancock called the Special City Council Meeting to order at 7:10 p.m. In attendance were Councilmembers Kirstin Peterson, Rob Sweeten, Gregg W. Stucki, Joseph Lekarczyk and Kyle Bailey. Also present were City Manager Donna J. Metzler, City Recorder Rachel Ellison, Temporary Acting Temporary Police Chief Michael Navarre, Community Development Coordinator David Olsen, City Treasurer Laurie Ramstetter and Public Works Director Brent Williams. The purpose of the Special Meeting was: 1) Budget Workshop between the Governing Body and City Department Heads for FY 1999-2000 for all funds. 2) Budget Workshop between the Governing Body and City Department Heads for FY 2000-2001 for all funds. 3) Request by the Moab Area Chamber of Commerce for Shower and Swim Fees Waiver on June 10, 2000 from 1:00 to 5:30 PM for approximately 60 students and 6 adults. Councilmember Bailey moved to approve a Request by the Moab Area Chamber of Commerce for Shower and Swim Fees Waiver on June 10, 2000 from 1:00 to 5:30 PM for approximately 60 students and 6 adults from the Richfield High School Band Performing in the Butch Cassidy Days parade with the condition that the groups be split into two groups at differing times if possible. Councilmember Lekarczyk seconded the motion. The motion carried 5-0 aye by a roll -call -vote. City Manager Metzler fiscal year 1999-2000. and Dept tinent Heads.
