MAKING APPROPRIATIONS FOR ADDITIONALPLANNING, ZONING AND
DEVELOPMENT STAFFANDOFFICEFURNISHINGS
WHEREAS, Coundl Resolution No. 80-16 established additionsl staff for the plsnnin~, Zoll~
and Development Department; and
WHEREAS, Council Resolution No. 89-22 authorized the lease of o/See space to ~Icommodate
the additional staff'; and
WHEREAS, the General Fund budget for the fiscal year ending June 80, 1989, does not provide
fundin~ for the additional staff as well as ot~ce furnishings and training expenses:
T/~ORE, RESOLVED by the Council of the Town of Leesburg in V'u~inia as follows:
SECTION I. An appropriation of $25,000 is authorized from the General Fund ,mappropriated
fund BI-nee to Account No. 200-8101-100-010, ~l-rie8 and Wages, to provide fundln~ for the
Planner II and pl,unlr~g Teehni~i-n pos/tions.
SECTION II. An appropriation of $2,000 is authorized from the General Fund unapprop~
fund l~L~nee to Account No. 200-8101-?00-020, Ot~Sce Equipment.
SECTION III. An appropriation of $2,000 is authorized from the General Fund unappropriated
fund balance to Account No. 200-8101-520-010, Telephone.
SECTION IV. An appropriation of $3,000 is authorized from the General Fund unappropriated
fund balance to Account No. 200-8101-550-010, Travel and Training.
