SPECIAL MEETING MAY 21, 2001 The Information, Inc. of the City of Lynwood met in a Special Meeting at 11330 Bullis Road on the above date at 9:25 a.m. Chairman Richards presiding. ~~ Directors Byrd, Rea, Reyes, Sanchez and Richards answered the roll call. Also present were City Manager Davis, Assistant City Attorney Calsada, Project Manager Jackson, and Treasurer Pygatt. Project Manager Jackson announced that the agenda had been posted in accordance with the Brown Act. PUBLIC ORAL COMMUNICATIONS Agenda Items Only NONE PUBLIC ORAL COMMUNICATIONS NONE Item# 4 STRATEGIC PLANNING & IMPLEMENTATION: Parking Meter Study: Director of Public Works Wang gave the Directors a brief presentation on the Parking Meter Study, stated he will also have more workable plans in detail for the Directors to review. Director Rea stated that the estimated cost of the Parking Meters is incorrect. Director of Public Works Wang stated the main revenue from this project is the citations Director Rea stated he would like further review of the estimated cost for the Parking Meters, and wants a full report. Chairman Richards stated he would like for the Director of Public Works to bring back to the Directors different options, with details on the Parking Meters Fees to next regular meeting. Director Rea suggested that candidates have at least a Bachelors Degree, for this position considering the salary. Prefers a Bachelor Degree in Public Administration. ADJOURNMENT Having no further discussion, it was moved by Director Byrd, seconded by Director Reyes and carried to adjourn the meeting at 11:45 a.m. Paul H.
