LYNWOOD INFORMATION, INC.
SPECIAL MEETING
MAY 25, 2001
The Information, Inc. of the City of Lynwood met in a Special Meeting at 11330
Bullis Road on the above date at 9:55 a.m.
Chairman Richards presiding.
Directors Byrd, Rea, Reyes, Sanchez and Richards answered the roll call for all
agencies.
Also present were City Manager Davis, City Attorney Thever and Treasurer
Pygatt.
Clerk Hooper was absent.
Project Manager Jackson announced that the agenda had been posted in
accordance with the Brown Act.
Item #4: E -Government
The California Contract Cities Association at its recent Annual Conference in
Palm Springs presented the topic on E-Government. E-Government offers a
myriad of possibilities to improve the delivery of services to the members of the
public.
It was moved by Councilman Rea, seconded by Councilman Byrd and carried to
receive and file the information and bring the Item back to a Special Workshop
next week.
COUNCIL ORALS
Councilman Rea suggested a special meeting to be scheduled next week to
discuss the E-Government Item, and asked that staff tone down the weekly
project reports or schedule more that one meeting during the week.
Councilman Reyes stated that one special meeting weekly is enough. Stated
staff needs time to do what they have been directed.
Mayor Richards discussed the Strategic Ptan and target projects.
ADJOURNMENT
Having no further discussion, it was moved by Mayor Pro Tem Sanchez,
seconded by Councilman Byrd and carried to adjourn the meeting at 11:25 a.m.
