SPECIAL MEETING JUNE 11, 2001 The Information, Inc. of the City of Lynwood met in a Special Meeting at 11330 Bullis Road on the above date at 9:20 a.m. Chairman Richards presiding. Directors Byrd, Rea, Reyes, Sanchez and Richards answered the roll call. Also present were City Manager Davis, City Attorney Thever, Secretary Hooper, and Treasurer Pygatt. Secretary Hooper announced that the agenda had been posted in accordance with the Brown Act. PUBLIC ORAL COMMUNICATIONS Agenda Items Only NONE PUBLIC ORAL COMMUNICATIONS NONE Item# 4: STRATEGIC PLANNING & IMPLEMENTATION: City Manager: City Postcards Public Relations Officer Johanna Howard gave the Directors a brief presentation on the City's Postcards. Director Reyes questioned the photographer. Public Relations Officer Johanna Howard stated an outsider professional photographer took the pictures on the City's Postcards. Finance and Administration: Customer Service Response Forms Personnel Officer Gail Black gave the Directors a brief presentation on the Customer Service Response Forms. Director Reyes stated he would like to have the Customers Service Response Forms in English and Spanish. Recreation & Community Services: Update on the 80~Anniversary Planning .--. Director of Recreation Jim Givens gave the Directors a brief presentation on the City's 80~n Anniversary. Director Reyes stated he would like for the Re-opening of the Natatorium to be held on a weekend, so everyone can attend the event. Vice Chairman Sanchez stated he would like to invite the whole City for all the City Events to make it a Community Event. o~ ~z, Director Rea stated he would like a recommendation regarding the status on the Formal Attire for the City's 80'h Anniversary. City Manager Davis stated he would bring back to the Directors the recommendation on the Black Tie Attire for further discussion.
