SPECIAL MEETING
SEPTEMBER 6, 2001
The Information, Inc. of the City of Lynwood met in a Special Meeting at 11330
Bullis Road on the above date at 4:30 p.m.
Chairman Richards presiding.
A Directors Byrd, Rea, Reyes, Sanchez and Richards answered the joint roll call for
I( all agencies.
Also present were City Manager Davis, City Attorney Thever, Secretary Hooper,
and Treasurer Pygatt.
Secretary Hooper announced that the agenda had been posted in accordance
with the Brown Act.

Item #4: NATIONAL SAFE CITIES TOWN HALL BROADCAST
Staff received information from the Sheriffs Department with regards to a live
broadcast of the Safe Cities Town Hall on Youth Violence Prevention on a crime
topic utilizing the Internet or satellite to view the broadcast. The Sheriff's
Department is hosting a teleconference site at the Century Sheriff Station.
It was moved by Director Byrd, seconded by Director Reyes to authorize the City
Manager to urge members of the Neighborhood Block Watch and local schools
to view the National Safe Cities Town Hall Broadcast on Youth Violence
Prevention.
ADJOURNMENT
Having no further discussion, it was moved by Director Byrd, seconded by
Director Reyes and carried to adjourn the meeting at 7:35 p.m.
