A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING AND APPROVING THE 2009-2010 FISCAL YEAR
ANNUAL CITY STREET FINANCIAL REPORT AS REQUIRED BY IOWA
DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION BY SEPTEMBER 30, 2010
Whereas the Code of Iowa, Chapter 312, Section 14 requires,the submission of this, report
by September 30, 2009., In accordance with Section 312.15, the Iowa Department of
Transportation must certify to the State Treasurer each city not complying with this section
of the Code, and once notified, the State Treasurer will withhold funds allocated to the city
until the city complies.
Whereas this report provides the Iowa Department of Transportation and -the Federal
Highway Administration with a documented record of street,receipts and expenditures for
cities.
Whereby on the 15th day of September 2010, at a regular City Council meeting of the Tiffin
City' Council, Tiffin, Iowa, Councilperson Jim Bartels introduced A RESOLUTION
ACCEPTING AND APPROVING THE 2008-2009 FISCAL YEAR ANNUAL CITYY
STREET FINANCIAL REPORT AS REQUIRED BY IOWA DEPARTMENT OF
TRANSPORTATION BY SEPTEMBER 30, 2010, and made a motion for approval. The
motion was seconded by Councilperson Chris Ball.
Ayes: Chris Ball, Jim Bartels, Mike Gericke, Mark Petersen, Travis Weipert
Nays: None
Absent: None
WHEREUPON, the Mayor declared that the RESOLUTION ACCEPTING AND
APPROVING THE 2008'-2009 FISCAL YEAR ANNUAL CITY STREET FINANCIAL
REPORT AS REQUIRED BY IOWA DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION BY
SEPTEMBER 30, 2010, be adopted and signified his approval `of the same by affixing his
signature thereto.
PASSED, by the City Council of Tiffin on the 15th day of September 2010, and approved
by the Mayor on the 15th day of September 2010.
