Regular Meeting

May 15, 2019 4:30 P.M. Greencastle City H.II
I. Pledge of Allegiance
II. Call to Order; Roll Call
Mayor William Dory called the meeting to order at 4:30 PM; upon roll by lerk
Treasurer Lynda Dunbar the following were present William Dory, Craig uggle
and Trudy Selvia.
III. Special Requests
A. Sewage Leak Adjustment- Belissa York - $927.78- Motion by Tr dy
Selvia to approve the sewage leak adjustment in the amount of$9.7.78
second Craig Tuggle, 3-0, motion carried.
IV. Approval of Minutes
A. Regular Session — April 17, 2019
Motion by Craig Tuggle to approve April 17, 2019 regular session mi utes
as presented, second by Trudy Selvia, 3-0, motion carried.
V. Approval of Claims
A. Water-Motion by Craig Tuggle to accept the Water Claims in the a ount
of $65,820.08 second Trudy Selvia, 3-0, motion carried
B. Wastewater-Motion by Trudy Selvia to accept the Wastewater Claims in
the amount of $43,296.47, second Craig Tuggle, 3-0, motion carries.
VI. Department Reports
A. Fire Department— John Burgess
B. Planner— Scott Zimmerman
C. Police Department—Tom Sutherlin
D. Department of Public Works — Brad Phillips
E. Water & Wastewater Department — Oscar King
F. City Attorney - Laurie Robertson Hardwick

VIII. New Business
A. Probationary Firefighters to Full Firefighter Status-James Shaw and
Benjamin Wright- Motion by Trudy Selvia to remove James Shaw and
Benjamin Wright from the status of probationary firefighter to full firefighter
status on their one year anniversary date of May 16, 2019, second by
Craig Tuggle, 3-0, motion carried.
B. Contract Renewal Between The City and County for the Command
Vehicle- Motion by Trudy Selvia to approve the contract as presented,
second by Craig Tuggle, 3-0, motion carried.
C. Wastewater Bid on Locust Street- Motion by Trudy Seliva to approve
the bid for the replacement of old sewer lines on Locust Street in the
amount of$97,871.00 to Spikers Excavating and to allow Mayor Dory to
sign, second by Craig Tuggle, 3-0, motion carried.
D. 2019 Street Pavement- Motion by Craig Tuggle to send the proposed
street pavement list out to bid, second by Trudy Selvia, 3-0, motion
carried.
IX. Adjournment
Motion by Trudy Selvia to dismiss at 4:49 p.m., second Craig Tuggle, 3-0
motion carried. ,
