RESOLUTION NO. 59-159
A RESOLUTION: MAKING ADDITIONAL APPOINTMENTS TO THE AD HOC COMMITTEE TO
PROMOTE THE RETENTION OF THE COUNTY SEAT IN LEESBURG
WHEREAS, this Council on November 8, 1988 endorsed a Leesburg location for Loudoun
County's consolidated government center; and
WHEREAS, a committee was formed on July 25, 1989 by Resolution No. 89-144 to work toward
the preservation of Leesburg as the county seat for Loudoun County government; and
WHEREAS, additional citizens have shown an interest to serve on this committee:
THEREFORE RESOLVED by the Council of the Town of Leesburg in Virginia as follows:
Mary Dierman and J. M. DeFrancia are appointed to serve on this committee until its
expiration.
PASSED this 12th day of September , 1989.
