RESOLUTION NO. 89-196 ADOPTED September 26, 1989
A RESOLUTION: APPROVING A CONTRACT AMENDMENT WITH BCM POTOMAC, INC., FOR
ADDITIONAL ENGINEERING DESIGN SERVICES IN THE UPGRADE/
EXPANSION OF THE WATER TREATMENT PLANT
WHE~, the town is currently under contract with BCM Potomac, Inc., for engineering
design services in the upgrade and expansion of the Water Treatment Plant; and
WHEREAS, initial pilot testing conducted under the preliminary engineering study phase of the
contract has identified several deficiencies in the plant's chemical and physical processes required for
expansion to 5.0 MGD; and
WHEREAS, amendment of the March 28, 1988 contract is necessary to address these
deficiencies:
THEREFORE, RESOLVED by the Council of the Town of Leesburg in Virginia as follows:
Section I. The town manager is hereby authorized and directed to execute a contract
amendment in the amount of $19,696.00 to the engineering services contract with BCM Potomac, Inc.,
dated March 28, 1988, for the Water Treatment Plant upgrade and expansion.
