WH~tEAS, there exists a need for professional services
for work on plans and application for Urban Enterprise Zone.
; and
WHEREAS, funds are available for this purpose; and
WHEREAS, the Local Public Contracts Law (N.J.SiA. 40A:ll-1 et seq.)
requires that the resolution authorizing the award of contracts for
"Professional Services" without competitive bids and the contract itself
must be available for public inpection;
NOW, RHEREFORE, BE 11' ~(M_.VI~D by the Mayor and Com~cil of the
Borough of Carteret:
_ 1. CITYSCAPE, INC.
is hereby appointed to represent the Borough in said services
a fee not to exceed $7,500.00
2. Said appointment is made without competitve bidding as a
"Professional Service" under the provisions of the Local Public
Contracts Law because planning and engineering are
licensed and certified by law.
3. A notice of this action shall be printed once in The News Tribune
on January 24~ 1995
