Called Meeting. Marsh 30th, 1e23.
A Called Meeting of the Board of Trustees was called to
order by the Mayor at 8: 30 P.M. for the purpose of drafting
and adopting the Annual Appropriation Ordinance for 1923.
Trustees, Annderson,Burman, Fulimer, Hasbrouck and Newell
were present,Gafner was absent.
The following Ordinance was offered to the Board by the
Judiciary Committee and was duly read.
Ordinance No 82.
Annual Appropriation Bill for 1923.
Be it Ordained by the Board of Trustees of the Town of
Ault, State of Colorado.
Section one,That there be and is hereby appropriated from
-the revenue of :the Town of Ault,State of Colorado. for the
fiscal year 'begining April 1st A.D. 1923 and endind March
31st A.D.1924.amounts as follows.
For the maintenance of streets,alley & sidewalks. 1, 300.00
For the maintenance of the Fire Department. 800.00
For the maintenance of the Cemetery. 250.00
For salaries. 1,800.00
For the maintenance of the City Parks. 1, 750.00
For Sinking Fund to retire the Bond issue of 1918 2, 000.00
For the General Fund. 983. 5E
Total. 3;I '
There is hereby levied and appropriated a poll tax as
provided in Ordinance No (17) Seventeen of (e3.00) Three
Dollars upon every able bodied citizen between the ages of
(21) twenty—one years and (5C) fifty years to be collected
as provided in said Ordinance.
Anderson moved seconded by Newell, That Ordinance No 82
be passed and adopted as read,Upon vote had the following
ballot was cast,Yeas,Anderson,Burman,Fulimer, Hasbrouck and
Newell,Nays none. Absent Gafner,
The proposition of the Home Gas and Electric Co in re—
gard to having Mr Bowman look after their interests in Ault
was discussed.
The following subject were aliso discussed,Clean up day,
Pool Hall Licenses,Picture show License,Police Magistrate.
No action was taken. -
Newell moved seconded by Fullmer to ajourn subject to the
call of the Mayor,A11 present vote Yea.
