RESOLUTION NO. 89- 262
ADOPTED December 12, 1989
A RESOLUTION:
AUTHORIZING A TIME EXTENSION OF THE PERFORMANCE GUARANTEE
FOR INSTAIJATION OF PUBLIC IMPROVEMENTS FOR POTOMAC
CROSSING SECTION IA
WHEREAS, The Grimm Company, the developers of PotomRe Crossing Section lA has not
completed all the required public improvements in accordance with the approved construction drawings
and town standards within the two-year per/ed agreed to/n the contract for public improvements; and
WHEREAS, the letter of credit from United Savings Bank in the amount of $32,125.00 has
expired on December 7, 1989; and
WHE~, a new letter of credit from United Savings Bank has been provided by the developer
to guarantee inst~llstion of the remaining public improvements in Potomac Crossing Section lA and
this smount has been approved by the Director of Engineering and Public Works:
THEREFORE, RESOLVED by the Council of the Town of Leesburg in Virginia as follows:
The letter of credit from United Savings Bank in the amount of $32,125.00 in a form
approved by the town attorney and an extension of six months for the inst~llstion of public
improvements are approved.
