AUTHORIZING A CONTRACT V~qTH BENGSTON, DEBELI~ ELKIN & TITUS
TO PROVIDE PROFESSIONAL ENGINEERING SERVICES FOR THE ROUTE
15 BY-PASS WIDENING PROJECT
WHEREAS, this project has been identified as Capital Improvement Projects to be accomplished
during 1990; and
WHEREAS, a Request for Proposal was issued by the Department of Engineering and Public Works
to consulting engineering firms to provide professional services for design and construction administration;
and
WHEP~AS, the Selection Committee chose Bengston, DeBell, Ellrin & Titus as the highest ranked
fu'm and recommend award to Bengston, DeBell, ]~iirln & Titus:
THEREFORE, RESOLVED by the Council of the Town of Leesburg in Virginia as follows:
SECTION I. The Manager is authorized and directed to enter into a contract, on behalf of the
Town in an amount of $190,158.00 with Bengston, DeBell, Elkln and Titus, for professional services as
required by the Town of Leesburg.
SECTION II. A transfer of the $100,000 received from the Loudoun County Transportation
District Commission is made to account #9207-300-010-902.
A transfer of $100,000 is made from proffered transportation pro-ratas to account
