RECEIVING AND REFERRING THE APPLICATION OF LINHAB DEVELOPMENT
CORPORATION FOR AN AMENDMENT TO THE LINDEN BTI','I', PLANNED
DEVELOPMENT (#ZM-60) AND SETTING A JOINT PUBLIC ~ARING UNDER
CHAPTER 11, TITLE 15.1 OF THE 1950 CODE OF VIRGINIA, AS AMENDED.
WHEREAS, Section I of Ordinance No. 85-O-23 mending the Leesburg Zoning Map states:
'l~he Linden Hill Concept Pian/Pre '~ Development Plan, as amended for
a ms--mum of 60 singie-fnmily condominium units, plus one singie-fnmily
residential unit and one clubhouse unit in the existing house, is approved
and the Leesburg Zoning Map is revised to change from County R-2 to PRN,
10.3367 acres of lan& . . .~; and
WHEREAS, the applicant has now requested removal of the clubhouse from the ex~ting ms{n house
and to relocate it in the building to be constructed adjacent to the proposed swimming pool and to allow
the m~in house to be developed as a single-family dwellin~ and
WHE~, the applicant has requested a joint public hearing on thi~ application in order to allow
for the prompt construction of the recreation facilities for the residents of Linden ~
THEREFORE, RESOLVED by the Council of the Town of Leesburg in Virginia as follows:
The application of Linhab Development Corporation, a~gned rezoning number #ZM-117, for a
concept plan amendment to #ZM-§0 is hereby initiated and a notice of joint public hearing with the
P~ Commi.~sion to consider rezoning application #ZM-117 shall be published in the Loudoun Times-
Mirror. The notice shall be published on March 9, 1900, and March 18, 1990, for public hearing on
March 27, 1900 at 7:30 p.n~ in the Council Chambers, 10 Loudoun Street, S.W., Leesburg, Virgini~
The Clerk shall give notice of thi~ joint hearing to the Planning Commlgsion.
