SPECIAL MEETING MAY 10, 2004 The Lynwood Information, Inc. of the City of Lynwood met in a Regular Meeting in the Council Chambers, 11330 Bullis Road on the above date at S:15p.m. Chairman Byrd presiding. Directors Pedroza, Rodriguez, Santillan, Vasquez and Byrd answered roll call. Also present were City Manager Hempe, City Attorney Beltran, Secretary Hooper and Treasurer Pygatt. Secretary Hooper announced that the agenda had been posted in accordance with the Brown Act. FY 2004/ OS Budget Amendment Requests Chairman Byrd mad a point of privilege to allow Mazk Kudler one and half minute to speak on an issue he had requested. Mazk Kudler stated he heazd the budget that there might be a consideration of water towers. With his communication with council and staff that this would be illegal. That he feels that this is 2001 all over again when he protest what Regency was doing. He has not met with staff was not given a forum since January 7, 2004. Would like to get correspondences with the City Attorney Verbally written that this will not be on the agenda. The City Manager knows how he feels about this we will be going to court. After School Computer Program It was moved by Director Rodriguez and second by Chairman Byrd and carried to take a five minute break 8:55 p.m. Directors reconvened at 9:15 p.m. Director of Economic Development Grant Taylor Gave a Presentation on Part VIII thru Part X. Open or inside recruitment City Manager Lorry Hempe gave the closing Presentation. City Manager Hempe thank the Council for barring with them. She continue to say that staff is preparing to bring resolution on June 15, 2004 on the proposed amendments. Asking council to consider adopting the resolution of the proposed budget amendments. This will close out the fiscal yeaz 2003/2004. Also setting budget 2004/2005.
