PLAINFIELD BOARD OF POLICE COMMISSIONERS
SPECIAL MEETING MINUTES
June 3, 2021
Commissioner Greg Chapman called the June 3, 2021 special meeting of the Board of
Police Commissioners to order at 6:00pm. In attendance were Commissioner Chapman,
Commissioner Gardner, Commissioner Schindlbeck, Chief Konopek and Kim McKinney.
Public Forum: Citizen's Comments -None.
Correspondence- None
Commissioner Chapman goes over the entry level candidate scores that were provided
from Stanard. The list provided includes scores for those candidates that were eligible for
preference points and put in for them. Commissioner Chapman requests the board to review the
scores and look for any discrepancies. No discrepancies were found. Commissioner Chapman
moves to approve the written exam candidate list for entry level police officer eligibility.
Commissioner Gardner seconds. All in favor.
Commissioner Chapman would like to hold two days for oral interviews for entry level
police officer testing. The first date will be June 12, 2021 and the second will be June 16, 2021.
He would like the first 20 candidates to be offered an interview. Commissioner Chapman moves
to approve holding oral interviews for the first 20 candidates on these two dates. Commissioner
Schindlbeck seconds. All in favor.
Commissioner Chapman moves to adjourn to executive session at 6:30pm.
There being no further business or discussion, Commissioner Chapman moved the
meeting to be adjourned at 6:58pm.
