REGULAR MEETING
OCTOBER 19, 2004
The Lynwood Information, Inc. of the City of Lynwood met in a Regular Meeting in the
Council Chambers, 11330 Bullis Road on the above date at 6:25 p.m.
Chairman Byrd presiding.
Directors Pedroza, Rodriguez, Santillan, Vasquez, and Byrd answered roll call.
Also present were Interim City Manager Wang, City Attorney Beltran, Secretary Hooper
and Treasurer Pygatt.
Secretary Hooper announced that the agenda had been posted in accordance with the
Brown Act.

CONSENT CALENDAR
All matters listed under the Consent Calendar will be acted upon one motion affirming
the action recommended on the agenda. There will be no separate discussion on these
~~ items prior to voting unless members of the Council or staff request specific items be
removed from the Consent Calendar for separate action.
It was moved by Director Santillan, second by Chairman Byrd to approve the minutes
and adopt the following Resolution.

RESOLUTION NO. 2004.024 ENTITLED:
A RESOLUTION OF THE LYNWOOD INFORMATION INC. OF LYNWOOD,
CALIFORNIA, ALLOWING AND APPROVING THE DEMANDS AND
WARRANTS THEREFORE.

Item #6: PRESENTATION BY LYNWOOD JOURNAL REGARDING NEW
MANAGEMENT
The purpose of this item is to introduce the representative from the Lynwood Journal the
Board of Directors of Lynwood Information Incorporated to discuss the new direction of
the publication.
Johanna Howard -Provided to the Directors a brief presentation of the Lynwood Journal
regarding new management.
It was moved by Director Pedroza, second by Director Santillan and carried to receive
and file this report.
ADJOURNMENT
Having no further discussion, it was moved by Director Santillan, seconded by Director ,
Pedroza and carried to adjourn the Regular Lynwood Information Inc, Meeting in
Memory of Norma Byrd, William Salazar and Mr. Villanueva at 7:00 p.m.
