A RESOLUTION APPROVING OF THE ALCOHOL PERMIT FOR SLIM'S STREET
DANCE EFFECTIVE AUGUST 7, 2010 FOR CONSUMPTION OF ALCOHOL ON
CLOSED W. THIRD STREET
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Tiffin, Iowa will review and will determine the
granting of the Alcohol Permit requested' by the Slim's Saloon to be located on W. Third
Street of Tiffin, Iowa.
WHEREAS, the City Council has reviewed the request and has not discovered any reason to
deny the approval of the Alcohol Permit for Slim's Saloon on August 7, 2010 on W Third
Street in front of the business establishment.
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, the City Council directs the'City Clerk to submit for local
authority, approval of permit to the State of Iowa Alcoholic Beverages Division.
On the 28th day of July 2010, at a special meeting of the Tiffin City Council, Tiffin, Iowa.
Councilperson Travis Weipert introduced Resolution 2010-36 and made a motion for
APPROVING OF THE ALCOHOL PERMIT FOR SLIM'S STREET DANCE EFFECTIVE
AUGUST 7, 2010 FOR CONSUMPTION OF ALCOHOL ON CLOSED W. THIRD STREET.
Motion seconded by Councilperson Mark Petersen.
Ayes: Jim Bartels, Mark Petersen, Travis Weipert,
Nays: None
Absent: Chris Ball, Mike Gericke

Three Council.members having voted and approved the issuance of the requested alcohol
permit.
WHEREUPON, Mayor Royce Phillips declared that the RESOLUTION 2010-36,
APPROVING OF THE ALCOHOL'PERMIT FOR SLIM'S STREET DANCE EFFECTIVE
AUGUST 7, 2010 FOR CONSUMPTION OF ALCOHOL ON CLOSED W. THIRD STREET
be adopted and signifies his approval of the same by affixing his signature thereto.
Passed by the City Council on the 28th day of July 2010 and approved by the Mayor on the
29th day of July, 2010.
