RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING EMERGENCY EXPENDITURES
FOR ROAD AND SEWER REPAIRS
WHEREAS, the Borough Engineer has determined that an
emergency repair was necessary due to damage caused by
agents, employees, contractors performing construction duties
on the New Jersey Turnpike; and
WHEREAS, the aforesaid damage occurred on a major
thoroughfare, namely Minue Street in the Borough of Carteret;
and
WHEREAS, said repair to the road surface was authorized
as an emergency by the Borough Engineer;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Mayor and Council
of the Borough of Carteret hereby approves an emergency
expenditure to Marvec Construction Corp. in the amount of
$12,250.00.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Borough shall take all
necessary action to recover said expenditure from the party
causing said damage.
Adopted this 2nd day of February, 1995
and certified as a true copy of the
original on February 3, 1995.

and the Borough of Carteret, a municipal corporation, having its
principal office at the Borough Hall , 61 Cooke Avenue, Carteret,
New Jersey, 07008, hereinafter the "BOROUGH".
As per Resolution No. 95-56

EMERGENCY EXPENDITURES FOR ROAD AND SEWER REPAIRS
TOTAL AMOUNT $12,250.00 NOT TO EXCEED.
according to the terms set forth in the bids and specifications.
