AWARD OF PROFESSIONAL SERVICES CONTRACT PURSUANT
TO THE LOCAL PUBLIC CONTRACTS LAW
WHEREAS, there exists a need for professional services
to audit Borough telecommunications systems; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to N.J.S.A. 40A:ll-5(1)(a)
professional services are exempt from the requirements of
competitive bidding; and
WHEREAS, the local Finance Officer has certified that
funds are available.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Mayor and Council
of the Borough of Carteret does hereby approve the contract
attached hereto with AUDICOM INC. and directs the Mayor to
execute said contract.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the contract is awarded
without competitive bids in accordance with N.J.S.A. 40A:11-5
(1) (a) due to the specialized and professional nature of the
the services provided.
Adopted this 2nd day of February, 1995
and certified as a true copy of the
original on February 3, 1995.
