VILLAGE OF PLAINFIELD
WILL COUNTY, ILLINOIS
A Resolution Authorizing Participation in the ComEd Green Region Program
for the Riverfront Park Council Ring & Pollinator Habitat Project
WHEREAS, the Village of Plainfield ("Applicant") desires to undertake the Riverfront
Park Council Ring & Pollinator Habitat Project as part of the 2021 ComEd Green Region
Program; and
WHEREAS, the Applicant applied to the ComEd Green Region Program for a grant for
the purpose of carrying out this project; and
WHEREAS, the Applicant has received and understands the current ComEd Green
Region Program Guidelines; and
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT the Village Board hereby approves this
project and authorizes application to the ComEd Green Region Program in the amount of
$10,000; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, THAT the Applicant commits to the expenditure of
the funds necessary, in excess of $10,000, for the project's success.
