WHERF_J~, the 1950 Code of Virginia, as amended, Section 58.1-3940 provides for collection of local
personal property taxes to be enforceable for only five years following December 31 of the year for which
such taxes were assessed; and
WHEREAS, the town's financial records contain outstanding personal property taxes for the year
1985:
THEREFORE, RESOLVED by the Council of the Town of Leesburg in Vir~nis as follows:
The Director of Finance is authorized to charge-off from the town's finan~o_l records the attached
list of all outstanding personal property taxes for the year 1985.
