Present: Chairman: Alice Van Oot Vice -Chairman: John Ostman, Clerk: Maxine Minkoff. Regular Members: Richard Hartmann and Debra Oakes. Associates: Maria LcSta e. Planning Department Staff: George Meservey and Michael Solitro. Also Present; Board of Selectmen Liaison: Mark Mathison, PUBLIC COMMENT There were no public con s at this point in the COMMUNICATIONS TO THE PLANNI BOARD eeting. Meservey reported that Associate David Ortolani has resigned from the Planning Board. FOLLOW-UP TONOVEMBER 16TH COMPREHENSIVE PLAN VISION O WORKSHOP Van Oot stated that Planning Board members were very pleased with the workshop turnout on November 16, 2023 and noted that attendees were very engaged in the visioning process. Meservey stated that there will be another workshop on December 5, 2023 at 3:00 p.m. at the Orleans Police Station. Planning Board members discussed comments received at the first workshop and considered holding future workshops with younger audiences. Planning Board members discussed how to move forward with a compilation of a draft Vision Statement by December 19, 2023. Van Oot noted that transportation, affordable housing and water issues were common themes brought up at the workshop. POTENTIAL ZONING AMENDMENTS Planning Board members revie ed the following proposed zoning amendments: • Amend Zoning Bylaws Section 164-31, Apartment Development • Amend Zoning Bylaws Section 164-13. Schedule of Use Regulations • • Amend Zoning Bylaws Section 164-40. Accessory and Congregate Dwellings • Amend Zoning Bylaws Section 164-34.
