A RESOLUTION APPROVING REIMBURSEMENT PAYMENT TO TIFFIN FIRE
ASSOCIATION FOR E85 EQUIPMENT AND SUPPLIES
WHEREAS: the City Council has been requested by the Tiffin Fire Association for
reimbursement costs to cover equipment and supplies to provide emergency protection for
the E85 fuel pumps located within the legal boundaries of the City of Tiffin.
AND WHEREAS: the City Council has reviewed the request for reimbursement and
desires to cover the expenditures for initial equipment and supplies for the protection of E85
fuel pumps.
AND WHEREAS, the City Council have reviewed the funding source for this request,
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City of Tiffin, Iowa, that the City Council
hereby authorizes the Mayor and City Clerk to issue reimbursement to the Tiffin Fire
Association from the Local Option Sales Tax fund for the amount of $12,736.35.
On this 14th day of July 2010, at a regular meeting of Tiffin City Council, Tiffin, Iowa, Council
person Travis Weipert introduced Resolution 2010-35 A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING
THE REIMBURSEMENT TO THE TIFFIN FIRE ASSOCIATION and made a motion for
approval. The motion was seconded by Council person Mike Gericke.
AYES: Chris Ball, Jim Bartels, Mike Gericke, Mark Petersen, Travis Weipert
NAYS: None
ABSENT: None
WHEREUPON, five votes by City Council approved Resolution 2010-33, Mayor Phillips
declared that Resolution 2010-35 be'adopted and signified his approval of the same by
affixing his signature thereto.
PASSED, AND APPROVED THIS 14th DAY OF JULY 2010.
