APPROVING THE MUNICIPAL BUDGET OF THE
BOROUGH OF CARTERET FOR THE FISCAL YEAR - 1995
BY THE GOVERNING BODY OF THE BOROUGH OF CARTERET
Local Budget of The Borough of Carteret - County of Middlesex
for the Fiscal Year - 1995
BE IT RESOLVED, that the following statements of revenues and
appropriations shall constitute the Municipal Budget for the
Year 1995.
General Appropriations for:
1. Appropriations within "Caps"
(a) Municipal Purposes $13,572,675.00
2. Appropriations excluded from "Caps"
(a) Municipal Purposes 5,425,447.24
Total General Appropriations Excluded From
5,425,447.24
"Caps" ..
3. Reserve for Uncollected Taxes Bases on
Estimated 95.75 Percent of Tax Collections 1,260,000.00
4. Total General Appropriations 20,258,122.24
5. Less: Anticipated Revenues Other'Than
Current Property Tax 10,604,035.39
6. Difference: A_mount to be Raised by Taxes for .~
Support of Municipal Budget
(a) Local Tax for Municipal Purposes
Including Reserve for Uncollected Taxes $ 9,654,086.85
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that said Budget be published in the
News Tribune in the issue of March 3, 1995.
Notice is hereby given that the Budget and Tax-Resolution was
approved by the Governing Body of The Borough of Carteret,
County of Middlesex, on February 9, 1995.
A hearing on the Budget and Tax-Resolution will be held at the
Municipal Court on March 16, 1995 at 7:30 O'Clock (PM) at which
time and place objections to said Budget and Tax Resolution for
the Year 1995 may be presented by taxpayers or other interested
persons.
Adopted this 9th day of February, 1995
and certified as a true copy of the
original on February 10, 1995.
