A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE SPECIAL FUNDING FOR 2010 TIFFINFEST
WHEREAS: the City Council Has reviewed the need for approval of special funding for
the 2010 Tiffinfest.
AND WHEREAS: the City Council has approved the special funding for the 2010
Tiffinfest as a loan to be paid to the City of Tiffin out of net profits°of the
Tiffinfest`and upon the discovery that net profits do not exist then said loan
will be a -forgivable loan of the Tiffinfest committee.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City of Tiffin, Iowa, that the City Council
hereby authorizes the Mayor and City Clerk to issue a check for the
amount of $10,000 to be deposited in the Tiffinfest account.

On this 10th day of July 2010, at a Special Meeting of Tiffin City Council, Tiffin, Iowa, -Council
person Chris Ball introduced Resolution 2010-34 A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE
SPECIAL FUNDING FOR 2010 TIFFINFEST and made a motion for approval. The motion
was seconded by Council person Mark Petersen.
AYES: Jim Bartels, Chris Ball, Mark Petersen
NAYS: -None
ABSENT:Mike Gericke, Travis Weipert
,
WHEREUPON, three votes by City Council approved Resolution 2010-34, Mayor Phillips
declared that Resolution 2010-34 be adopted and signified his approval of the same by
affixing his signature thereto:
PASSED, AND APPROVED THIS 10th DAY OF JULY 2010.
