Re: Capital Mall Tax Increment Financing Application and Capital Mall
Tax Increment Financing Plan
Dear Drew:
As counsel to and on behalf of Capital Mall JC, LLC (the "Developer"), please find
attached the following items:
• 15 copies of the Tax Increment Financing Application and Tax Increment
Financing Plan, for distribution to the Tax Increment Financing Commission.
• 1 CD with an electronic copy of the Tax Increment Financing Application, Tax
Increment Financing Plan, and legal description of the proposed Tax Increment
Financing Redevelopment Area.
Pursuant to the Missouri TIF Statute, Sections 99.800 thru 99.865, the Developer requests
that the City of Jefferson, Missouri consider the adoption of the attached Capital Mall Tax
Increment Financing Plan. In furtherance of this objective, the Developer request a public
hearing before the TIF Commission for consideration of the Capital Mall Tax Increment
Financing Plan.
You should receive by electronic mail, a proposed TIF schedule to ensure proper
statutory compliance with all notice and procedural requirements imposed by Missouri law.
Please review the attached material and distribute the materials, as appropriate, the
Jefferson City Tax Increment Financing Commission. We respectfully request a public hearing
before the TIF Commission at the earliest possible date.
