Leesburg Trash Collection Schedule Changes
for 4th of July Holiday
Leesburg, VA (June 23, 2011) – There will be no trash or yard waste collection in the Town of
Leesburg on Monday, July 4, 2011, due to the Independence Day holiday. As a result, the
normal collection schedule is shifted by a day for all curbside collection customers.
For residents in the Southeast and Southwest quadrants of Town, who normally have trash and
yard waste collected on Mondays, trash and yard waste will be collected on Tuesday, July 5,
2011. For residents in the Northeast and Northwest quadrants of Town, who normally have
trash and yard waste collected on Tuesdays, trash and yard waste will be collected on
Wednesday, July 6, 2011.
In addition, there will be no curbside trash collection for commercial customers on Monday,
July 4, 2011. Regular commercial curbside trash will resume on Tuesday, July 5, 2011.
As a reminder, the Leesburg Town Offices will be closed on Monday, July 4, 2011 in observance
of the Independence Day holiday.
