A public hearing regarding the approval of Plan and Projects will be held before the Jefferson City TIF Commission on Monday, October 28, 2013, at 5:30 p.m. at City Hall, 320 E. McCarty Street, Jefferson City, Missouri, 65101. B. The proposed Redevelopment Area is generally located at the northeast intersection of U,S, 50 Highway and W. Truman Road in a portion of the area bounded an the west by W. Truman Road; on the north by Amazonas Drive; on the east by Alameda Drive and a north -south line extending south from the southern terminus of Alameda Drive to Country Club Drive; and on the south by Country Club Drive, all in Jefferson City, Cole County, Missouri. The Redevelopment Area is generally depicted on the accompanying map. C. The Plan, if approved, would reduce or eliminate the blight in the Plan Area through the redevelopment of approximately 78 acres of real property, and more specifically through the rehabilitation and renovation of = the existing Capital Mall and its amenities, landscaping, and infrastructure, all of which has become blighted and has suffered significant economic decline due to obsolescence. D. All interested persons shall be given an opportunity to be heard at the public hearing described In paragraph A above. E.
