tract, or parcel of land lying within the proposed redevelopment area. You may be receiving
this notice because taxes were not paid on a on a lot, block, tract, or parcel of land lying within
the proposed redevelopment area, and you are listed on the tax rolls as a person who owned the
property within the last three preceding years. This notice is required by section 99.830 of the
Revised Statutes of Missouri.
A public hearing regarding the approval and activation of the Project will be held before
the Jefferson City TIF Commission on Tuesday, June 17, 2014, at 5:30 p.m. at City Hall, 320 E.
McCarty Street, Jefferson City, Missouri, 65101. All interested persons will be given an
opportunity to be heard at the public hearing.

NOTICE
The City of Jefferson Tax Increment Financing
("TIF") Commission will consider the approval
and activation of tax increment financing for the
Redevelopment Project ("Project") established
in the Capital Mail Tax Increment Financing Plan
("Plan") to finance certain costs associated with
the redevelopment of property in Jefferson City,
Missouri, in accordance with the Real Property
Tax Increment Allocation Redevelopment Act,
Sections 99.800 through 99.865 RSMo, as
amended. Pursuant to law, the public is hereby
notified that:
A. A public hearing regarding the approval and
activation of the Project will be held before the
Jefferson City TIF Commission on Tuesday, June
17, 2014, at 5:30 p.m. at City Hall, 320 E.
McCarty Street, Jefferson City, Missouri, 65101.
B. The Redevelopment Area is generally located
at the northeast intersection of U.S. 50 Highway
and W. Truman Road in a portion of the area
bounded on the west by W. Truman Road; on
the north by Amazonas Drive; on the east by
Alameda Drive and a north -south line extending
south from the southern terminus of Alameda
Drive to Country Club Drive; and on the south by
Country Club Drive, all in Jefferson City, Cole
County, Missouri. The Redevelopment Area is
generally depicted on the accompanying map.
C. The Plan and Project will reduce or eliminate
the blight in the Plan Area through the
redevelopment of approximately 78 acres of
real property, and more specifically through the
rehabilitation and renovation of
the existing Capital Mall and its amenities, landscaping, and infrastructure, all of which have
become blighted and has suffered significant economic decline due to obsolescence.
D. All interested persons shall be given an opportunity to be heard at the public hearing
described in paragraph A above.
E. A copy of the Plan with a more detailed description of the Project and the Plan Area is
available for inspection in the City Clerk's office at City Hall, 320 E. McCarty Street, Jefferson
City, Missouri, 65101. It may be inspected between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m.
Monday through Friday, exclusive of holidays.
