HomeMy Public PortalAbout2016-10 - SALARIES ' 1r 2016 ORDINANCE 2016-10 AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING THE SIZE OF THE DEPARTMENTS OF CITY GOVERNMENT OF THE CITY OF GREENCASTLE, INDIANA, FIXING SALARIES FOR THE EMPLOYEES OF SUCH DEPARTMENTS AND FIXING THE SALARIES OF CERTAIN OTHER APPOINTED OFFICIALS FOR THE YEAR 2017 SECTION ONE: That the City of Greencastle shall pay all eligible employees 26 bi-weekly pays effective with pay date beginning January 13, 2017 at the rates listed in SECTION TWO, below. In addition, all eligible full-time members of the departments of the City of Greencastle shall be paid longevity pay, calculated at a percentage of their base pay, beginning on the first day of the anniversary month of employment as follows: Months of Completed Employment Percentage of Pay Date of hire through 35 months (2 years, 11 months) 0% 36 months through 71 months (5 years, 11 months) 3% 72 months through 131 months(10 years, 11 months) 4% 132 months through 167 months (13 years, 11 months) 5% 168 months or more 6% Full-time members shall be compensated for authorized overtime in accordance with the Fair Labor Standard Act, 29 U.S.C.A. 207. SECTION TWO: l hat the Police Department shaft consist-f,upto,nineteen osyful-ktime members, (1) one part-timc-e-eri al-and, ' - - e-• •••= - .- •• guards.
