Leesburg Seeks Public Input On Parks & Recreation Programs
Web survey will gather citizen feedback on current service levels and future
needs for parks and recreation programs, facilities and amenities
Leesburg, VA (June 27, 2011) – The Town of Leesburg Parks & Recreation Department is in the
process of conducting a Parks & Recreation Service and Needs Analysis. As part of this analysis,
the Town is seeking citizen input via a web-based survey. The survey will be live at
www.balancedcommunity.com/leesburg until Sunday, July 17, 2011.
Survey questions address current facility usage, satisfaction with recreation services, how well
household recreation needs are being met and greatest needs for additional programs and
amenities.
Everyone who completes the survey will be entered into a drawing to win either a 10-visit pass
to the A.V. Symington Aquatic Center or a 25-visit pass to Ida Lee Park Recreation Center
(winner’s choice).
All survey responses will be confidential and will be reported in aggregate only. For more
information about the survey or the service and needs analysis, please contact Rich Williams,
Parks & Recreation Director at rwilliams@leesburgva.gov or 703-737-7140.
