AUTHORIZING A CONTRACT WITH IMME SERVICES AND A&S
CLEANING SERVICES TO PROVIDE THE TOWN WITH JANrrORIAL
SERVICES
WHEREAS, bids were solicited to provide janitorial services for the Town of Leesburg; and
WHEREAS, on October 26, 1990, seven janitorial contracting firms responded to the Request for
Bids; and
WHEREAS, the bid received from IMME Services was the lowest responsive bid received for
janitorial services for the new town municipal office building and Ida Lee Park Recreation Center and
offices; and
WHEREAS, the bid received from A&S Cleaning Service was the lowest responsive bid received
for janitorial services for the Automated Flight Service Station at Leesburg Municipal Airport:
THEREFORE, RESOLVED by the Council of the Town of Leesburg in Virginia as follows:
SECTION I. The acting town manager shall enter into a contract with IMME Services for janitorial
services at the municipal office building at a monthly cost of $2,371.00 and the Ida Lee Park Recreation
Center and offices at a monthly cost of $3,785.00.
SECTION II. The manager shall enter into a contract with A&S Cleaning Service for janitorial
services at the Automated Flight Service Station at Leesburg Municipal Airport at a monthly cost of
$1,600.00.
SECTION IIi. Both contracts will include by reference the applicable terms and conditions specified
in the bid document for janitorial services dated October 12, 1990.

by and between the TOWN OF LEESBURG, Party of the First Part, and ARTHUR LLOYD, T/A A&S
CLEANING SERVICE, Party of the Second Part.
W I T N E S S E T H:
WHEEEAS, the Party of the First Part solicited bids for janitorial services pursuant to the
procurement code of the Town of Leesburg and statutes of the Commonwealth of Virginia; and whereas,
the Party of the Second Part was the successful bidder and the Parties hereto wish to confwm the award
of the bid by incorporating the relevant portions of the janitorial services as described in the bid
documents dated October 12, 1990, in a formal contract document.
THIS CONTRA~ THEN W1TNESSETH tlmt the Parties hereto agree as follows:
1. The Party of the Second Part agrees to provide janitorial services at a monthly charge of
Sixteen Hundred Dollars, ($1,600) for certain offices and structures located in the Town of Leesburg,
VA. at the Automated Flight Service Station at the Leesburg Municipal Airport.
2. The applicable terms and conditions of the bid document for janitorinl services dated
October 12, 1990, are adopted and made a part hereof by reference in haec verba and shsl! constitute
the definitive terms and conditions of the contract for janitorial services between the Parties hereto.

WHEREAS, the Party of the First Part solic/ted bids for janitorial services pursuant to the
procurement code of the Town of Leesburg and statutes of the Commonwealth of Virginia; and whereas,
the Party of the Second Part was the successful bidder and the Parties hereto wish to con/mn the award
of the bid by incorporating the relevant portions of the janitor/al services as described in the bid
documents dated October 12, 1990, in a formal contract decmnent.
THIS CONTRACT THEN W1TNESSETH that the Parties hereto agree as follows:
1. The Party of the Second Part agrees to provide janitorial services at a monthly charge of
Two Thousand Three Hundred and Seventy One Dollars ($2,371.00) for certain offices and structures
located in the Town of Leesburg, Virginia, at 25 W. Market St. and Three Thousand Seven Hundred
Eighty Five ($3,785.00) at the Ida Lee Park Recreation Center and offices.
2. The applicable terms and conditions of the bid document for janitorial services dated
October 12, 1990, are adopted and made a part hereof by reference in haec verba and shall constitute
the definitive terms and conditions of the contract for janitorial services between the Parties hereto.
