AUTHORIZING A TIME EXTENSION FOR PUBLIC LMPROVEMENTS
INSTALLATION IN POTOMAC CROSSING SECTION 1B2
WHEREAS, Richmond American Homes, the developers of Potomac Crossing Section lB2 has
completed the majority of the public improvements for this section; and
WI-IE~, the Department of Engineering and Public Works is in the process of generating a
pun.~.hlist of all outstanding work which remabl to be completed; and
WYr.~REAS, the street system has been completely paved and the sidewalks are in place; and
W}IEREAS, Richmond American Homes has not received the puucl-dist and tins requested a time
ext~:v~ion of six months to complete the remaining work; and
W~IEREAS, the corporate surety froth., the Reliance Insurance Company dated. February ] 9, 1988,
whi~':~ gaarantees the inst~ll~tion of public improvements in the amount of $79,000.00, expired on
Dec...rnber 8, 1990; and
V~qiEREAS, Richraond American has provided an extension of the $79,000.00 sure~, from the
Relim~ce Insurance Company for an additional 6 months.
THEREFORE, RESOLVED by the Council of the Town of Leesburg in Virgh)ia as follows:
qq:e corporate surety bond from Reliance Insurance Company in the amount of $79,000.00 in a form
approved by the town attorney and a six month time extension for the inst~llstion of public
imp;'ovements in Potomac Crossing Section 1B2 are hereby approved.
