LYNWOOD PUBLIC FINANCE AUTHORITY
REGULAR MEETING
JANUARY 2, 2002
The Public Finance Authority of the City of Lynwood met in a Regular Meeting at 11330
Bulbs Road on the above date at 7:35 p.m.
President Reyes presiding.
Members Byrd, Richards, Rodriguez, Pedroza, Reyes answered the joint roll call for all
r
~~ agencies.
Also present were Chief Administrative Officer Gonzales, Interim City Attorney
Montgomery, Secretary Hooper and Treasurer Pygatt.
Secretary Hooper announced that the agenda had been posted in accordance with the
Brown Act.

Item #4: MINUTES OF PREVIOUS MEETING
It was moved by Member Richazds, seconded by Vice President Pedroza and carried to
approve the following minutes.
• Special Meeting -December 3, 2001
• Regular Meeting -December 4, 2001
Item #5: HOMELAND SECURITY BLOCK GRANT ACT
Senator Hillary Clinton has introduced the Homeland Security Block Grant Act (S. 1737)
that would provide $3 billion to local governments beginning in fiscal year 2002.
It was moved by Member Richards, seconded by Member Byrd and carried to receive
and file this item.
ADJOURNMENT
Having no further discussion, it was moved by Member Richazds, seconded by Vice
President Pedroza and carried to adjourn the meeting in Memory of Regina Brooks
mother Mrs. Rosa Bridener Bowers and also in Memory of Doctor Betty L. Jackson a
member of the Woman's Commission at 7:37 p.m.
